GWEC understands that clean alternative energy technology will only become “main stream” if (1) customers know the technology exists and (2) the customer sees the economic benefits of using that technology over fossil fuel.

Part of GWEC’s mission, therefore, is to bring existing energy-saving products and services to  customers’ attention; explain their costs and benefits, and make it as easy and as pleasant as possible to obtain these products and services.  

GWEC only offers products and services that (1) a customer might need (2) will save the customer energy and (3) make economic sense – each product and service has to have a clearly-defined pay-back period. 

However, offering energy-saving products and services is just the beginning.  GWEC is continually looking for new energy solutions. 
For example, GWEC actively promotes solar to both homes and businesses as a cost-effective way of generating power as opposed to fossil fuels; and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

However, GWEC also believes there are other alternative energies – for example, wind turbines, water current turbines and wave power generating technologies – have even greater long-term potential.  GWEC is also committed to developing and marketing those technologies for residential, commercial and industrial use. 

GWEC offers clean alternative technologies that are commercially viable now – and will continue to additional technologies as soon as they become available.

In short, GWEC offers customers an evolving laboratory and marketplace for both energy savings and alternative energy solutions, all to make customers’ lives a little better short term; and all of our lives a whole lot better long term.
